Now here is the attention getter that seems to be the flagship of the company. This car belongs to the owner and founder of K.M.P. Accessories which he has had for about 4 years. Over the years Kevin has had almost 35 Mustangs, yes we said 35. Everything from his 1st car which was a 1987 Mustang LX 4cyl, and '86 5.0L Coupe, '79 Coupe, and a 1993 GT to name a few. This Cobra is the latest to his collection and is host to a mildly stock 4.6L. Currently this engine has a set of underdrive pullies, ported intake, and flowmaster mufflers that were welded into the factory exhaust. Looking pretty much as you see it, this is the condition of the car at time of purchase. Ready and waiting for the upgrades to come.
Soon after Kevin started going through the tired and worn out suspension. Kevin first removed the worn out front lower control arms and replaced them with the upgraded arms from the '03 - '04 Cobra (part #:M-3075-D), to aid in the turning radius, and improve the handling. During the installation of the arms he also replaced the springs at all four corners with a set of STEEDA Sport Springs (part #: 555-8200), to improve the ride on these northern roads and give it the stance that you currently see. To aid in the steering he also replaced the outer tie rod ends with a STEEDA BumpSteer Kit (part #: 555-8104), and the Steeda Front Anti-Roll Bar (part #: 555-1094). The rear of the car was not forgotten, with the addition of the STEEDA Sport Springs, Kevin also added the STEEDA Upper and Lower Control Arm Kit (part #: 555-2002), to really help the back end grab around the hard corners of the courses.
